"Kasei" provides a full set of ephemerides including Mars surface and Earth view maps. The positions of Mars and Earth are shown on an ecliptic centered chart. The current heliocentric positions of Mars and Earth are plotted on a Mars orbit odometer.

Orbital data and visualization are presented for the martian moons Phobos and Deimos as well as fact sheets for the trio.

Kaisei also allows time keeping on Mars for any time zone on the planet including the current missions Spirit, Opportunity and Phoenix.

Last, but not least, a Mars weather report and access to NASA TV are provided when the device is online.
