"Kinuchu" is a database of the top hundred and more nearby stars as compiled by RECONS. The database can be updated online.

The data of each star or the entire database as an overlay can be saved as KML for Google Sky while star images can be retrieved from the Digitized Sky Survey.

Kinuchu also estimates travel time to each star based on Einstein's theory of time dilation.

Proper motion is graphically displayed for each star. A graphic or photo for each star can be added by the user. A very few are included in the installer.
