"Kogaku" is software which simulates estimated performance of telescopes and binoculars. Upon selection of a telescope or binoculars from a database, Kogaku will show how the optics would perform under ideal (theoretical) conditions. It will also show the field of view with a given eyepiece and magnification plotted against popular deepsky objects and solar system bodies. Select a webcam replacing the eyepiece and check it out as well.
