"Suisei" (Japanese for Comets) is software for the purpose of monitoring the motion of observable comets in real-time. Suisei's database includes elements for over 200 comets courtesy the Minor Planet Center. Both the database and the application program can be updated on the device online.

Calculations performed by Suisei are sufficiently accurate for amateur astronomy and occasional observations, therefore not targeting at scientific research. Use of this software also provides sufficient knowledge of computers, Pocket PCs and basic astronomy.

COMETS CAN GET CLOSE TO THE SUN DURING THE PERIOD COVERED IN THE EPHEMERIS COMPUTED BY SUISEI. OBSERVERS ARE WARNED TO BE WARY OF OBSERVING COMETS NEAR THE SUN. NEVER POINT ANY KIND OF OPTICAL INSTRUMENT AT THE SUN--INSTANT BLINDNESS WILL BE THE MOST PROBABLE RESULT.
