"Taiyo" is a real-time Sun Monitor with an analog clock, sun elevation gauge, sun azimuth compass and horizontal view. The position of the Sun can also be viewed superimposed over a world map and a sky chart. An animation shows the motion of the Sun against the ecliptic over a year.

Taiyo also computes twilight times and Sun ephemerides and provides physical data of the Sun.

Since your Time Zone is detected automatically, all you need to provide are your geographical coordinates, longitude and latitude or select a location from a database of over 400 locations.

Taiyo is designed to compute approximate times and positions and, therefore, is not suitable for scientific purposes or other applications requiring utmost precision. Use of this software also provides sufficient knowledge of computers, Pocket PCs and basic astronomy.
