To date, the classic "Taiyoukei" is the largest database of the Solar System and beyond for Pocket PCs, now rolled out as version 2.00 with updates and restructured menus.
The program is believed to run on Pocket PC 2003, WM5 and WM6, including QVGA and VGA screens, as long as the device allows installation of VB runtimes.

If your operating system language is other than English, you may need to change the decimal number separator in your regional setting from comma to point. To do so, please select Settings/System/Regional Settings/Number/Digit grouping symbol.
SOLAR SYSTEM OBJECTS CAN GET CLOSE TO THE SUN DURING THE PERIOD COVERED IN THE EPHEMERIS COMPUTED BY TAIYOUKEI. OBSERVERS ARE WARNED TO BE WARY OF OBSERVING ANY OBJECT NEAR THE SUN. NEVER POINT ANY KIND OF OPTICAL INSTRUMENT AT THE SUN--INSTANT BLINDNESS WILL BE THE MOST PROBABLE RESULT.
Taiyoukei is "RobinHoodWare", in other words, the rich donate for the poor. Embedded VB programmers without emulator will envision the amount of work and time invested in this application. If you can afford a donation please support the work, if you really can't, just enjoy and feed back your findings.
Taiyoukei will be posted for free download for a couple of months. If it does not return the investment with donations... what would you do? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
